About the position

The Purchasing Manager at Flik Hospitality Group is responsible for overseeing purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management activities at a specific location. This role involves implementing best practices, driving supply chain process improvements, and managing location purchasing teams to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 'show quality' of all areas at all times
  • Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging, and pricing
  • Establish rapport with team members, management, and partners
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices
  • Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals
  • Contribute to required daily reporting and month-end closing
  • Ensure team members adhere to Flik-Compass guidelines
  • Ensure all security, safety, and sanitation standards are achieved
  • Monitor inventory procedures for accountability
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop porters according to Flik-Compass guidelines
  • Display a positive attitude towards team members

Requirements

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Curiosity for new technology and industry trends
