The position involves conducting thorough market analysis and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities while mitigating risks associated with procurement. The Director will also negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts to optimize terms and conditions, ensuring that the organization maintains strong relationships with key suppliers to guarantee supply chain continuity. Utilizing data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, the Director will drive data-driven decision-making processes and optimize procurement operations. The implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential to measure procurement performance and ensure accountability within the team. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities, resolve supply chain challenges, and improve overall business operations, leveraging tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 to ensure data accuracy and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) to drive data-driven decision making and optimize procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and drive accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities, resolve supply chain challenges, and improve overall business operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI to optimize procurement processes, ensure data accuracy and consistency, and generate actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, including Power BI.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
