About the position

The Purchasing Manager at Phoenix Global LLC is responsible for overseeing procurement and purchasing operations, ensuring that the organization meets its material and service requirements efficiently. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing systems to monitor performance and assess risks. The Purchasing Manager will also work closely with team members to manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages procurement and purchasing operations to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.
• Maintains strategic supplier relationships and negotiates contracts.
• Implements systems for monitoring supplier performance and assessing risks.
• Utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands.
• Works with team members to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.
• Oversees auditing processes to ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations.
• Adheres to approved budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
