About the position

The Purchasing Manager at Staffmark Group is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and procurement processes within the region. This role focuses on supplier evaluation and development, aiming to optimize both internal and external procedures. The Purchasing Manager will build strategic relationships with suppliers to effectively negotiate and reduce procurement costs, collaborating closely with Supply Chain Management, Research & Development, and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire purchasing process and define regional purchasing strategies.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and oversee contract execution.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and develop new suppliers.
  • Maintain purchasing synergies between divisions and ensure compliance with purchasing standards.
  • Utilize SAP for order management and keep master data updated.
  • Collaborate with the SCM team and corporate departments on strategic projects.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of purchasing experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience with SAP for order management.
