About the position

The Purchasing Manager at EnviroTech Molded Products, Inc. is responsible for overseeing procurement operations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, cost management, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the company meets its production needs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production schedules.
• Analyze market trends and supplier pricing for cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure purchased materials meet quality standards.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with operational goals.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field plus 2-3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
• High school diploma plus 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for procurement and inventory management.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to forecast purchasing needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
