Responsibilities

• Manage a team of at least 5 buyers, providing support and guidance.
• Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with R&D to request substitutions and changes in suppliers.
• Oversee the understanding of raw materials, chemicals, components, and packaging.
• Ensure proper setup of new raw materials and components in ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and production processes, ensuring efficiency.
• Work with auditors and consultants to maintain corporate compliance.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address issues faced by buyers.

Requirements

• Industry experience as a manager in cosmetics or personal care manufacturing.
• Supervisory experience managing a team of buyers.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their applications in purchasing and inventory management.
• Excellent understanding of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging components.
• Experience in supplier negotiations and relationship management.
• Background in inventory, production, compounding, R&D, customer service, project management, product development, and QA.
