The role also involves conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement to achieve cost savings, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all procurement activities. The Purchasing Manager will evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance, and will prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance to senior management. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the transportation or maritime industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
