About the position

Justrite Safety Group is a growing family of industrial safety companies dedicated to protecting workers, workplaces, and the environment through a comprehensive range of industrial safety solutions. The Purchasing Manager position at Notrax, a Justrite Safety Group company, is crucial for ensuring the efficient procurement of inventory and non-inventory materials, as well as commodity planning and services. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all materials and supplies entering the organization, ensuring that purchasing processes align with operational needs and company goals. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing records related to purchasing, including reviewing requisition orders for accuracy and maintaining purchasing files and reports. This position requires a keen eye for detail to compare supplier bills with bids and purchase orders, ensuring that all transactions are accurate. Effective communication is essential, as the Purchasing Manager will work closely with various departments, including production, engineering, and customer service, to achieve common goals. The role also involves negotiating terms with suppliers, analyzing data to prepare reports, and planning for purchased finished goods.
