About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing operations across departments, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports and presentations.
  • Compile, categorize, and verify data related to purchasing.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in purchasing food and beverage to maintain quality and profitability.
  • Order food and beverage based on business needs and maintain budgeted costs.
  • Enforce inventory rotation and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Communicate with kitchen and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Inspect deliveries and verify invoice accuracy against shipments.
  • Maintain inventory controls and complete administrative tasks on time.
  • Ensure adherence to financial and accounting standards in purchasing operations.

Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in Purchasing or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs for data management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in food and beverage operations.
