Responsibilities

• Manage capital purchases and all aspects of plant purchasing
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to improve processes and reduce costs
• Create relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, determine delivery schedules, and make informed purchasing decisions
• Prepare and manage department budgets
• Collaborate across departments to strategize on best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
• Knowledge of asphalt materials and construction processes
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
• Vendor management experience
• Prior experience leading a team of purchasers
