As a Purchasing Manager, you will hold a key position in strategizing, implementing, and refining procurement processes to ensure optimal sourcing, cost efficiency, and quality in our beverage production endeavors. Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct regular supplier assessments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform purchasing decisions and maintain compliance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce lead times.
  • Use ERP to fulfill job functions and analyze data and metrics to drive performance.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and procurement optimization, aiming to improve the bottom line without compromising on quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in strategic and tactical contract negotiations with the ability to create and sustain strategic supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Related certifications and/or education in supply chain management preferred.
