About the position

Responsibilities

• Manage overall purchasing activities for various materials used in manufacturing automotive parts.
• Direct negotiation with vendors for purchasing raw materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Conduct interviews to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Evaluate price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable bidding prices.
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.
• Review and authorize documentation related to purchasing activities, including purchase orders and supplier contracts.
• Finalize purchasing orders and contracts to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Build and manage strong, long-term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
