About the position

The Purchasing Manager at AirClean Systems plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining inventory levels to meet market demands. This full-time position involves overseeing shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, ensuring inventory integrity, and coordinating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Handle and manage inventory items, ensuring accurate warehouse inventory counts.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
• Submit work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Customer Service departments for effective warehouse coordination.
• Monitor and ensure facility key performance indicators (KPI) are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure adequate staffing, training, coaching, and development for employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Five (5) years of work-related experience.
• Working knowledge and experience with quality system regulations and guidelines.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills; effective written and graphical skills.
• High level of computer proficiency including MS Office Suite and ERP business systems applications.
• Strategic thinking, analytical, and creative skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of math and statistics.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
