The Purchasing Manager at Polo Club Boca Raton Property Owners Association is responsible for overseeing the purchasing, shipping, and receiving functions within the organization. In this role, the Purchasing Manager will lead a team responsible for receiving food products, checking for compliance with specifications, and maintaining proper sanitary conditions in accordance with state and local laws. The manager will also be tasked with scheduling the purchasing team to meet delivery demands and will collaborate with the Executive Chef and department heads for special requests. Bidding for equipment and testing products to ensure quality will be a key responsibility, along with managing the setup of food carts for various outlets and venues. The Purchasing Manager will maintain a highly organized work environment, perform monthly inventory checks, and ensure that all storage areas are clean and well-organized. This position requires excellent communication skills to interact with members, co-workers, and management in a professional manner. The Purchasing Manager will also be responsible for submitting food invoices to the accounting department and managing the purchasing budget in collaboration with the Director of Culinary/Executive Chef.
