They are seeking a Purchasing Project Manager to join their team. This candidate will oversee the sourcing and acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for commercial construction projects. This position focuses on managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring procurement aligns with project timelines and budget constraints. In this role, the Purchasing Project Manager will develop and implement procurement plans, identify and negotiate with suppliers, and ensure materials are delivered according to project schedules. The candidate will collaborate with project management teams to anticipate material needs, oversee delivery schedules, and adapt procurement plans to meet project changes. Additionally, the manager will monitor and manage procurement budgets, identify potential cost-saving measures, and provide regular budget compliance reports. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, addressing and resolving any vendor issues, and keeping accurate and up-to-date procurement records will also be key responsibilities. Furthermore, the Purchasing Project Manager will ensure that all procurement practices comply with company guidelines and relevant industry standards.
