Source is seeking a Purchasing Project Manager to take charge of project purchasing, engage with clients, collaborate with trusted vendors, and oversee multiple projects from their inception through to installation and completion. This full-time, salaried position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. The Purchasing Project Manager will play a crucial role in implementing innovative purchasing strategies for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), aiming to streamline processes and optimize resource utilization. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams as well as local and national architects, designers, owners, and contractors. Your primary objective will be to effectively budget, purchase, deliver, and install FF&E for a range of projects, from small housing developments to large hospitality ventures, while adhering to strict budgets, project timelines, and design visions. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all specifications align with budgetary constraints and design requirements. The Purchasing Project Manager will be tasked with auditing specifications and floor plans, collaborating with designers and architects to clarify any ambiguities, and maintaining up-to-date vendor pricing on the Source platform. You will also generate purchase orders, review invoices, and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely payments to vendors. Additionally, you will monitor project timelines, track orders, and communicate regularly with clients and team members to provide updates on project status. Your role will also involve managing the closeout documentation process to ensure completion within 30 days of installation.
