About the position

The Purchasing Receiving Clerk at W. R. MEADOWS, INC. plays a vital role in the Purchasing team by ensuring accurate and timely entry of shipment delivery receipts into the ERP system. This position is essential for maintaining correct inventory levels of raw materials and buy-outs, which are crucial for production and sales. The clerk is also responsible for investigating discrepancies between purchase orders and actual deliveries, contributing to the overall efficiency of the purchasing process.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and timely enter receiving paperwork into ERP system
  • Verify delivery paperwork is correct to the purchase order
  • Enter batch numbers into ERP when necessary
  • Run month end reporting
  • Order non-stock materials for production and inventory
  • Maintain purchase order files
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Establish and maintain documents and records in appropriate files

Requirements

  • Writing skills
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Mid-level administrative experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in purchasing
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP
