About The Position

The Purchasing Specialist will manage the procurement of materials and supplies for Haidilao, ensuring effective inventory control and vendor management. This role involves analyzing warehousing data, sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining quality standards for food items. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Food Science, or Operations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management.
• Fluent in both Chinese Mandarin and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing activities for Haidilao materials and supplies.
• Maintain and analyze warehousing data for inventory control.
• Reorder and follow up on goods in the warehouse, including overseas suppliers.
• Contact vendors regarding quality issues and arrange for returns or replacements.
• Report price fluctuations and calculate their impact on inventory.
• Source new vendors and negotiate terms on price, payment, and lead time.
• Conduct cost analysis and ensure competitive pricing for inventory items.
• Coordinate with the audit department to assess supplier qualifications monthly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
