About the position

Woodward is seeking two Supplier Managers to oversee supplier performance and ensure alignment with purchasing goals. This role involves managing supplier metrics, driving corrective actions, and supporting sourcing strategies within the commodity framework. The Supplier Managers will work closely with various suppliers and part categories, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and facilitating performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance to QDRC metrics as they relate to Purchasing goals.
• Identify areas of concern using supplier metrics and drive corrective action around QDRC.
• Support execution of sourcing strategies within the commodity strategy and framework, including supplier assessments and business transitions.
• Travel to assigned suppliers as necessary (domestic and international).
• Engage in supplier performance improvement projects and activities.
• Ensure compliance with requirements in various contractual agreements.
• Resolve CoE crisis management issues involving suppliers, including expediting and recovery plans.
• Facilitate periodic performance reviews with key suppliers to review performance and establish corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering or equivalent education and experience is required.
• 2 or more years of experience in a purchasing role.
• Experience in multiple procurement categories.
