About the position

Woodward is seeking two Supplier Managers to oversee supplier performance and ensure compliance with purchasing goals. The role involves managing supplier metrics, driving corrective actions, and facilitating performance reviews. The Supplier Managers will work closely with various suppliers across multiple locations, ensuring that deliverables are met and that supplier performance aligns with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance to QDRC metrics as they relate to Purchasing goals.
• Identify areas of concern using supplier metrics and drive corrective action around QDRC.
• Support execution of sourcing strategies within the commodity strategy and framework, including supplier assessments and development.
• Travel to assigned suppliers as necessary (domestic and international).
• Ensure compliance with requirements in various contractual agreements.
• Resolve CoE crisis management issues involving suppliers, including expediting and recovery plans.
• Facilitate periodic performance reviews with key suppliers to review performance and establish corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• 2 or more years of experience in a purchasing role.
• Experience in multiple procurement categories.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Nice-to-haves

• Background and experience in supplier management of mechanically engineered components, critical systems enablers, special processes and raw materials.
