About the position
The Sales Representative at Pure Barre is responsible for driving membership sales and providing excellent customer service to both prospective and current members. This part-time role involves engaging with clients, assisting in the sales process, and contributing to a supportive community centered around fitness. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs and studio events.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Work the front desk before and after class welcoming and assisting customers, when open
- Maintain active retail sales, when open
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly membership goals
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio, as needed
- Assume responsibility for developing selling skills
- Process accurate credit card transactions
- Follow up & follow through activities with prospective clients
- Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms, when open
- Other duties as assigned by owner or general manager
Requirements
- Proficient sales, communication, and customer service skills required
- Warm, welcoming and engaging personality
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must have proficient computer skills
Nice-to-haves
- Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required
