The Forklift Driver position in Katy, TX involves operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to manage the movement of products and supplies within a shipping area. The role requires maintaining a clean and organized workspace while performing various material handling tasks, including unloading trucks and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation, along with problem-solving skills to address material control issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move pallets of product and other supplies.
• Wrap finished products and prepare for shipment.
• Unload enclosures and keep the shipping area clean and organized.
• Move enclosures to correct cells and areas utilizing overhead cranes.
• Perform basic material handling activities such as unloading trucks, receiving parts, material movements, order fulfillment, cycle counts, and inventory error investigations.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to material control problems.
• Utilize power lifting equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of forklift experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated.
• Flexible work schedule availability.

Benefits
