About the position
We are seeking an experienced PWA Mobile App Developer for a short-term contract project with a Fortune 200 Corporation that specializes in services and products for the upstream oil and natural gas industry. The role focuses on developing and enhancing a Progressive Web App (PWA) specifically for iPhone devices running iOS 17.7 and above, with an emphasis on resolving compatibility issues across various iPhone models.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the PWA mobile app for iPhones using Angular 16+.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PWA app compatibility issues across iPhone 12, 13, 14, and 15 models.
- Implement offline data capture functionality, leveraging IndexDB and caching mechanisms to ensure data sync with backend when the device is online.
- Analyze mobile browser console logs using MacBook to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PWA Mobile App Development on iPhone (iOS version 17.7+).
- Expertise in Angular 16+.
- Experience resolving issues related to PWA Apps breaking on iPhone 12/13 and improving functionality on iPhone 14/15.
- Experience handling FetchEvent.respondWith errors and other PWA-specific issues discussed in online forums (e.g., Github, Stack Overflow).
- Ability to analyze and debug using Safari on iOS and review relevant community discussions to provide solutions.
