The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background in designing high-reliability Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) according to engineering requirements. This includes experience with complex high-speed digital designs, power supplies, analog circuits, and rigid-flex circuits. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this position. As a Printed Wiring Board Layout Designer, you will be responsible for designing layouts of complex mixed signal, mixed technology, high-density PCB designs. You will provide full documentation for fabrication and assembly and offer engineering product support for operations and obsolescence. Additionally, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert resource to the Design, Manufacturing, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Quality communities for PCB and related process support. You will also support cross-functional teams to define synergies in processes and workmanship standards, requiring a strong knowledge of IPC standards and materials. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting the eCAD Library, interfacing with vendors and suppliers to import and export data for the fabrication of bare boards and installation of electronic and mechanical components, and working with functional teams to support the design of electronic products. You will also collaborate with the Global Export Compliance team to classify data for domestic and international export. Furthermore, you will pave the future roadmap for the Mentor Graphics EDM environment utilizing managed reuse blocks, create and maintain electronic schematics using electronic design tools such as Cadence and Mentor Graphics, and assist in training, assigning, and checking work.
