About the position

CGI is seeking a PySpark AWS Developer to work with a highly skilled team on the newest technologies. It helps the candidate to shape the career with matured agile project delivery, advanced Tech stack process. The position is located in either Raleigh, NC (Preferred), Lafayette, LA or Bloomfield, CT.

Responsibilities

• Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers.
• Follow engineering best practices and take pride in it.
• Participate and Contribute in Agile Ceremonies.
• Applications Development - Analysis, Design & Development.
• Testing & Support.
• QE Testing.
• Volume Testing.
• Implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 8+ years of experience in Full Stack Engineering practice - Designing, developing, deploying & testing.
• Hands on experience with PySpark and Python.
• Hands on experience with AWS Services - S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue, Step functions, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudwatch alarms, VPC, Terraform.
• Hands on experience with Oracle//Dynamo DB.
• Knowledge of TDD with at least unit test automation.
• Experience with CICD tools - GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx.
