About the position

The Python Analytic Developer at Leidos is responsible for developing analytics that pull data from various cyber sources, including ELINT and TechSIGINT. This role involves rapid prototyping and collaboration with tool developers and mission leads to create analytics that meet organizational needs. The position requires strong Python skills and the ability to manage and clean existing code while ensuring performance and conformity to GUI designs. The developer will work in a fast-paced environment focused on mission success and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources, including ELINT and TechSIGINT.
• Create prototypes to answer new questions and improve existing answers based on customer direction.
• Collaborate with tool developers, mission leads, and tradecraft experts to identify organizational business needs.
• Provide development support to analytic front ends to ensure conformity and performance to proposed GUI designs.
• Manage, organize, and clean up existing code and perform unit testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• An Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered with in-depth experience.
• Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Strong Python skills using Pandas, and experience developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 - 5+).
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML.
• Familiarity with PDW files.
