About the position

The Python API Developer will be part of a diverse team focused on innovation and collaboration within the financial services sector. This hybrid role requires expertise in developing scalable applications and working with cloud technologies, particularly in a serverless environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable and resilient applications in the cloud.
• Implement serverless architecture using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Deliver software using engineering best practices and principles.
• Utilize infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CFT, and CDK.
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Engage in continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in 2 or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
• Experience designing and building scalable applications in the cloud.
• Serverless development and architecture experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CFT, CDK, etc.).
• Working experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment.

Nice-to-haves

• Cloud Certifications in AWS.
• Experience with Datadog.
