About the position

The Python Architect role focuses on developing and implementing performance testing strategies for enterprise applications. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through effective performance testing and engineering practices. The architect will be responsible for analyzing test results and providing recommendations for performance improvements, while also contributing to the design of automated testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop Enterprise and Project Performance Test strategies
• Conduct performance tests including Load, Stress, and Endurance tests
• Analyze test results and provide performance improvement recommendations
• Collaborate with Development, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Business Teams
• Implement frameworks for performance testing
• Identify improvement areas and implement solutions for delivery excellence
• Set up production monitoring dashboards based on business and IT goals

Requirements

• Strong Python skills
• Proven ability to develop performance testing frameworks
• Good understanding of Performance Testing and Engineering lifecycle
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM), preferably Datadog
• Working knowledge of distributed Cache, Load Balancers, and Database systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good project planning skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Design and implement automated Performance Testing in the CI/CD pipeline
• Experience with microservices and containerization-based deployments like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of application architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles
• Experience with Chaos Engineering
