About the position

Responsibilities

• Develop automated tools for the Equity Derivative trading application.
• Work with development and QA team leaders to prioritize manual test cases for automation.
• Create and execute test plans and testing strategies.
• Provide automation support and training to team members.
• Analyze application requirements and design test scenarios and UAT test cases.
• Persuade and influence stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met.
• Adapt to changes and advocate for innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience automating manual test cases for desktop applications.
• Strong experience in Python automation in capital markets applications.
• Understanding of the equity trade lifecycle and derivatives.
• Experience with DevOps integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, and Bit Bucket.
• Hands-on development experience with UFT or other UI test automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, VB Script, and SQL.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and QTest.
• In-depth understanding of software testing principles.
• Experience with FIX protocol and messaging platforms like MQ/Kafka.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and QA processes.
