About the position

The Python Automation Engineer at Innova Solutions will focus on developing automated tools for Equity Derivative trading applications, enhancing the QA process by prioritizing automation of manual test cases. This role requires collaboration with development and QA teams, providing training and support for automation, and executing test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of in-house derivative products.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated tools for the Equity Derivative trading application.
• Work with development & QA team leaders to prioritize manual test cases for automation.
• Create and execute test plans and testing strategies.
• Provide automation support and training to team members.
• Analyze application requirements and design test scenarios and UAT test cases.
• Persuade and influence stakeholders to meet deliverables.
• Adapt to changes and advocate for innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience automating manual test cases for desktop applications.
• Experience in Python automation in capital markets applications.
• Strong domain knowledge in capital markets, especially derivatives.
• Experience with DevOps integration tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, and Bit Bucket.
• Hands-on development experience with UFT or similar UI automation tools.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VB Script, and SQL.
• Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, and QTest.
• In-depth understanding of software testing principles.
• Experience with FIX protocol and messaging platforms like MQ/Kafka.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and QA processes.
