We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in McLean, VA, and offers a contract duration of 9 to 12 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS Cloud services, particularly with EC2, S3, and Lambda, and will be experienced in working with Data Lakes. The role involves significant interaction with various databases, including Oracle, DB2, MongoDB, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices using Python, with a focus on leveraging any microservice-based framework. Familiarity with Pyspark is also essential, as it will be used in conjunction with Python for data processing tasks.
