About the position

The Python Backend Developer role at Cloud BC Labs Inc involves developing and maintaining backend systems using Python. The developer will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions for clients in various sectors, including AI/ML and data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Utilize cloud services, preferably Azure, for application deployment.
• Work with NoSQL and in-memory databases for data management.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum project execution.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes using Jenkins/Bamboo.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Cloud App services, Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and in-memory databases.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
