About the position

The Python CNO Cloud Developer at ManTech International is responsible for system and subsystem definition, design implementation, and integration testing for classified systems. This role involves collaborating with senior customer personnel on technical matters and may include leading and providing guidance to junior engineers. The position requires a strong background in software engineering, particularly in Python and cloud technologies, to support national security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a classified system.
• Participate in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness reviews, and software acceptance reviews.
• Research marketing requirements for products, including target/CNO environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
• Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of related experience as a Software Engineer/Developer, or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong experience with Object Oriented Programming, including a minimum of 4 years of experience with Python.
• Experience with VMWare, preferably with ESX.
• Experience with XML.
• Programming experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• General software testing and configuration management experience.

• Experience working with Commercial Security Software / IDS.
• Experience with Python Web Frameworks.
• Database experience.
