Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Python CNO Developer with Cloud experience to join our team in the Hanover, MD area. As a Python CNO/Cloud Developer, you will perform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a classified system. You will participate in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness reviews, and software acceptance reviews. Additionally, you may research the marketing requirements for a product, including target/CNO environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues. This role requires interaction with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines. There may also be opportunities to lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a classified system.
• Participate in software requirement reviews, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness reviews, and software acceptance reviews.
• Research marketing requirements for a product, including target/CNO environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
• Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of related experience as a Software Engineer/Developer.
• Strong experience with Object Oriented Programming, including a minimum of 4 years of experience with Python.
• VMWare experience, preferably with ESX.
• XML experience.
• Windows and Linux programming experience.
• General software testing and configuration management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Commercial Security Software/IDS.
• Python Web Frameworks experience.
• Database experience.
• Knowledge of CNO environment.
