About the position
The Python Developer (Django) position at Conch Technologies Inc is focused on developing and maintaining applications using Python and the Django framework. The role requires a strong understanding of core Python, as well as experience in end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and support of applications. The developer will be responsible for writing efficient and reusable code while ensuring high performance and availability of applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Python and Django framework.
- Perform end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications.
- Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Understand threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in core Python.
- Proficiency in Django framework.
- Knowledge of Flask is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with multi-process architecture.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
