About the position

The Python Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining Information Technology solutions using Python to enhance Client Customer Experience applications. The position involves coding, documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and ensuring IT controls for data confidentiality and integrity. The developer will also evaluate and performance test purchased products, contributing to the overall quality and functionality of the applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program IT solutions using Python for Client Customer Experience applications.
• Document the system and conduct unit tests and peer code reviews.
• Maintain internally developed applications and evaluate purchased products.
• Implement IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data.
• Develop REST APIs and process batch files using Python.
• Schedule batch processes and ensure effective performance testing of applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience in technical design and coding in the IT industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocols.
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience developing REST APIs using Python.
• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in various domains such as Health Care or Financial services.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Ab Initio development experience.
