About the position

The Sr Python Developer - Network Automation role focuses on leveraging Python programming skills to implement network automation solutions within telecom environments. The position requires extensive experience in network protocols and automation tools, aiming to enhance operational efficiency in telecom or ISP settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network automation solutions using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand network requirements and deliver solutions.
• Utilize libraries and frameworks such as Netmiko, Nornir, PyATS, and Napalm for automation tasks.
• Manage and optimize network management protocols including SNMP, NETCONF, and RESTCONF.
• Work with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Ansible to support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development, specifically in network automation.
• Strong background in telecom environments and knowledge of core telecom network protocols.
• Proficiency in Python programming with experience in relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with network management protocols (SNMP, NETCONF, RESTCONF).
• Knowledge of network protocols such as MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Familiarity with telecom hardware and software platforms.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
