About the position

TECOBI is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our rapidly growing Automotive Technology company. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that are essential to our Hybrid Intelligence platform. The developer will collaborate with a team of developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality software that enhances customer experience and dealership operations through innovative technology and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and APIs using the Django framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs, including Twilio, Open AI, and Mailgun.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases for data storage and management.
  • Utilize Google Cloud services for deploying and managing applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong understanding of the Django framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL database systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g.HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced rapid development environment with minimal meetings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs, including Twilio, Open AI, and Mailgun.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience in the automotive industry or related field is a plus.
