About the position

Leidos is seeking a Python Developer with a TS/SCI security clearance to work on next-generation image processing software utilizing AI/ML for a government customer. The role involves supporting existing applications and contributing to new designs that meet emerging requirements, while collaborating with geospatial users and other developers to establish an enterprise system using various software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support existing Python software and develop new Python services for a highly distributed architecture.
• Develop and support a test-driven CI/CD pipeline for supported applications.
• Collaborate with geospatial users to support their mission using image-processing algorithms.
• Work alongside other developers and teams to establish an enterprise system utilizing COTS, FOSS, and GOTS software.

Requirements

• Top Secret SCI Security Clearance REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Python development
• Experience with CI/CD development
• Familiarity with Agile best practices

Nice-to-haves

• Familiar with geospatial web solutions
• Familiarity with Docker/RKS/Rancher
• Familiarity with Git
