About the position

The Python Developer with Automation Experience role is focused on leveraging Python programming skills to automate repetitive tasks within a telecom environment. The position requires expertise in deploying scripts on both on-premises and cloud servers, as well as executing and testing Python scripts in a Citrix environment. The developer will also be responsible for embedding and triggering Python scripts on web pages and implementing automated testing frameworks. Additionally, the role involves designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using various tools.

Responsibilities

• Write Python scripts for automation of repetitive tasks.
• Deploy scripts on on-premises and cloud servers.
• Execute and test Python scripts in a Citrix environment.
• Embed and trigger Python scripts on web pages (React).
• Automate tasks using DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
• Implement automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Experience in a telecom background is required.
• Expertise in Python development.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with Git and version control workflows.
