About the position

The Python Developer with AWS role involves developing and maintaining applications using Python and various AWS services. The position requires strong programming skills, particularly in Python, along with experience in data manipulation and cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and services, and experience with data processing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python and AWS services.
• Utilize libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Pyspark for data manipulation.
• Implement and manage AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Redshift.
• Collaborate with team members to design and develop APIs.
• Ensure code quality and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of strong Python development experience.
• Proficient in using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Pyspark.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Redshift.
• Good knowledge of Java and database management, specifically Oracle and Postgres.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior working experience with Fannie Mae is an advantage.
