About the position

The Python Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems that control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. This role involves creating software platforms and fine-tuning programs post-development to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance.
• Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate hardware-software interfaces and resolve customer problems.
• Advise customers on software system maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Degree and Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience required.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in software development required.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of computer development software such as SQL, Java, J2EE.
