About the position

The Python Developer role focuses on the analysis and development of applications on the Quartz trading platform, specifically to support various regulatory requirements. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams to build the target FAS133 hedging platform and manage the LIBOR front to back transition project. The developer will partner with key stakeholders to ensure the deployment of proper design and architectural patterns that guarantee high availability, failover, and scalability, while demonstrating best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop applications on the Quartz trading platform to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to build the FAS133 hedging platform and manage the LIBOR transition project.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure proper design and architectural patterns are implemented.
  • Demonstrate best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on application resilience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Python development experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python.
  • Extensive experience using design and architectural patterns.
  • Extensive experience with the Quartz remote risk framework and calculators.
  • Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices.
  • Experience in Web UI technologies (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools.
  • Ability to work independently and within a high-functioning team environment.
  • Understanding of various financial instruments such as interest rate swaps, FX swaps, and bonds.
  • Knowledge of key Quartz components like Sandra, Bob, and Hugs.
