About the position

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team in a hybrid work environment located in McLean or Richmond, VA, or Wilmington, DE. This role requires a strong background in Python programming and experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda, as well as familiarity with serverless architectures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices and experience with CI/CD processes, particularly using Jenkins. Additionally, experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks is essential for this position. The Python Developer will also be responsible for providing production support as needed, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications and services.
• Implement and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Design and develop microservices architecture for scalable applications.
• Utilize CI/CD practices to streamline deployment processes, with a focus on Jenkins.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Experience in developing microservices architectures.
