About the position

The Python Developer role involves creating front office trading applications using Core Python within the proprietary Quartz framework. The developer will collaborate with Quantitative Analysts and Traders to gather requirements and address challenges, ensuring optimal performance through effective problem-solving and system design.

Responsibilities

• Write front office trading applications using Core Python in the proprietary Quartz framework.
• Work with Quantitative Analysts to gather requirements for Prime Brokerage front and communicate with Traders to understand their challenges.
• Solve problems using Python to provide optimal space and time complexity solutions.
• Design systems using Python OOP principles to enable traders to utilize a low-latency system.
• Coordinate with team members to work on JIRA tickets to resolve bugs.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in Python or similar languages (e.g., C# or Java).
• 3+ years' experience in SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS.
• 3+ years in writing and maintaining unit/integration tests.
• Understanding of integration patterns and practices.
