About the position

The Python Developer role involves developing robust Python applications, focusing on both back-end processing and full web-stack applications. The position requires a strong understanding of various tools and frameworks, as well as the ability to coach junior developers. Effective communication with stakeholders and adherence to project standards are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust Python applications for calculation and back-end processing.
• Create full web-stack applications using Python.
• Coach junior developers on the usage of tools like Pip, Flask, NumPy, and Anaconda.
• Implement designs in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and/or micro-services pattern.
• Efficiently execute database queries and follow data storage best practices.
• Utilize Git or similar source repositories for code management and issue tracking.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both orally and in writing.
• Follow project standards and processes as defined by project managers and architects.

Requirements

• Good experience in developing robust Python applications.
• Vast understanding of Pip, Flask, NumPy, Anaconda, and PyCharm.
• Efficient in database queries and data storage best practices.
• Ability to implement designs in SOA and/or micro-services.
• Experience using Git or similar source repositories.
• Strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to follow project standards and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledgeable in a second tech stack such as Java or C#/.Net.
• Experience with enterprise hosting.
• Experience with cloud technologies and elastic solutions.
• Front-end web technology skills such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript and modern frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
• Domain exposure to manufacturing and/or aerospace.
• Exposure to machine learning, AI, or blockchain.
• High aptitude for complex mathematics and calculus.
