About the position

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code. The role involves setting expectations and prioritizing features throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring quality deliverables, and collaborating with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Set expectations and prioritize features throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze user requirements and envision system features and functionality.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Ensure continual knowledge management and adherence to project schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 2-4 years of experience in Information Technology and Core Python (data structures, conditions, iterator functions, general functions, operations, classes, PEP8/documentation).
• Experience with Advanced Python, FAST API, PostGres SQL, FLASK, and Django.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tools such as Github, JIRA, and Postman.
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
