About the position

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT for a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, with at least 3 years of experience in writing and testing Python code. This role requires proficiency in debugging various projects and a solid understanding of popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid. The candidate should also be familiar with distributed storage systems, including DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB. Additionally, experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly using Git, is essential. A working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments is also required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Write and test Python code for various projects.
• Debug existing Python applications to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features using Python frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases while ensuring code quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements
