About the position

The Python Developer will primarily focus on backend development with some frontend responsibilities. This role is part of the Trade Surveillance team, which is dedicated to fraud detection and monitoring trade activity across all asset classes in Global Markets. The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills, experience with Quartz, and a solid understanding of financial products and fraud detection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python.
• Collaborate with the Trade Surveillance team to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
• Monitor and analyze trade activity across various asset classes.
• Implement features that support fraud detection and market abuse prevention.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong backend development skills with some frontend experience.
• Experience with Quartz is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of financial products and asset classes.
• Experience in fraud detection is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and agility.
