Responsibilities

  • Write complex reusable and efficient Python scripts for automating processes, data handling, and system operations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Python applications using classes, functions, and data structures.
  • Work with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and processing, leveraging Python scripts to handle large datasets efficiently.
  • Create Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, data pipelines, and infrastructure management processes.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain APIs using Python, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Utilize Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Implement and maintain a NoSQL database for dynamic data storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure Python scripts and applications follow best practices, including version control, testing, and optimization.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within Python scripts, applications, and libraries, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and implement Python-based automation solutions.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Python scripting for automation, data processing, and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable scripts.
  • Deep understanding of Python core concepts like functions, classes, loops, and data structures.
  • Experience with handling and assessing large datasets efficiently using Pandas and NumPy.
  • Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with one NoSQL database (MongoDB is a plus).
  • Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for application deployment and management.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of advanced Python data structures and algorithms for optimal problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with task scheduling and job orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimizing Python applications and scripts for scalability.
